Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brutalis Rhino!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan clinches.
Chan prevents the takedown attempt.
Rhino has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Chan fails to land.
Chan lands a right hand.
Rhino dodges an elbow strike from Chan.
Rhino avoids the elbow strike from Chan, against the cage.
Rhino is trying to drag Chan to the mat but Chan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Charlie Chan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brutalis Rhino.
Chan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rhino wants a takedown.
Chan lands a right hand.
Chan swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Chan is pressed up against the cage. Rhino has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chan down to the mat. Chan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Chan lands a jab.
Rhino shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rhino showed some decent athleticism there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rhino thows a huge punch but Chan dodges it nicely.
Chan wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chan is trying to control but can't.
Rhino wants to free his trapped foot but Chan is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Rhino is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rhino passes the guard and advances to mount!
Rhino landing shots from mount.
Rhino is working for a guillotine from mount but Chan frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chan tries to hold on but Rhino postures up.
Rhino moves to the back position.
Rhino sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Chan taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brutalis Rhino!
