PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Cruz (ranked 4406 p4p, 6068 weight class) and Kulli Suuhun (ranked 488 p4p, 575 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dustin Cruz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dustin Cruz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Suuhun as Cruz shoots in.

Cruz gets a double leg takedown into Suuhun's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cruz wants to stand and escape but instead Suuhun has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Cruz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cruz tries to get out of the position.
Suuhun is pushing down on Cruz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cruz is fighting to maintain full guard but Suuhun has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cruz has hold of Suuhun's hands but Suuhun slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Cruz is trying to stand.
Cruz is trying to escape back to his feet but Suuhun uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Suuhun cracks Cruz with a big right hand but Cruz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Cruz bucks up and tries to throw Suuhun off but instead Suuhun has got his back!

Suuhun is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Cruz has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Suuhun has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Cruz taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Suuhun doesn't care though - he's delighted!
