Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeb Freeman (ranked 2772 p4p, 3703 weight class) and War Path (ranked 415 p4p, 524 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeb Freeman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, War Path!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman tries for a takedown but Path circles away easily
and Path counters with a crisp one two that drops Freeman! Path thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Freeman to his feet! Freeman is in big trouble!
Path clinches up with Freeman and pushes him back against the cage.
Path jumps into guard, dragging Freeman to the mat.
Path is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Freeman wants to control from the top but Path keeps moving.
Freeman content to stall in guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Freeman prevents Path from getting back to his feet.
Our spies down at at Big Island Fitness inform us that Path has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Freeman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Freeman drops back looking for a leg! Path is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Path manages to kick Freeman off! Freeman jumps back into Path's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Freeman trying to control but Path is working from the bottom.
Freeman drops back, looking for a kneebar! Path looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Path looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Path!
Path really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freeman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Path trying to control the position but Freeman is working away.

What's Freeman going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Path in side control, throwing shots but Freeman defends.
Freeman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Freeman avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Path.
Path tries for a kimura but Freeman is defending well.
Path goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Freeman has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Path but great work by Freeman.
Freeman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Freeman trying to control the action but Path is working from the bottom.
Freeman is trying to get an arm triangle but Path is defending well.

Freeman is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Path looks calm but he's in trouble here. Freeman gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Path is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Freeman lets go of the hold and Path can pop his arm back in it's socket.
