Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sen Pai (ranked 5697 p4p, 5330 weight class) and Bakabaka Shi (ranked 553 p4p, 536 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sen Pai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bakabaka Shi! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pai bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Pai lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Shi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Pai is staying active underneath Shi, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ground and pound from Shi. Pai works his way to full guard. Good work. Shi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Pai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Shi connects with a couple of short punches. Shi passes easily into side control. Nice work. Shi working the ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pai tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Shi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pai is working hard here to advance position. Shi lands a nice forearm strike. Pai tries to improve position but can't. Shi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Shi advances nicely into full mount. Shi has control of Pai's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pai regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Shi controlling from the full mount. Shi trying to control but Pai is having none of it. Pai is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Pai is trying desperately to improve position. Shi dominating with strikes here. Pai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shi on the ground. Shi landing strikes, looking to finish! Shi lands a heavy elbow. Shi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pai is surviving well by controlling Shi's body position as best he can. Shi prevents Pai from getting the reversal. Shi landing shots from mount. Pai is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Shi looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Oh Pai is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Shi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shi lands a big shot to the head and Pai winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
