Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Deely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Harrison is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Deely! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Harrison! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deely shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Deely was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Harrison is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Deely controlling the position easily from mount. Deely thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Harrison bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Harrison trying to control but Deely is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Deely wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison wants to stand but Deely is controlling his posture from full guard. Harrison wants to control from the top but Deely keeps moving. Deely wants to sweep but no luck. Deely knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harrison on the ground. Deely has Harrison pulled in close to control his posture. Harrison wants to pass the guard but Deely is keeping the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No joy there for Deely, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Deely looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harrison! Harrison is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Deely is in the full mount, landing strikes. Deely goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Harrison turns into him and now he's in Deely's guard.
Deely is wriggling around but Harrison manages to pass to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deely wants to control but Harrison is keeping busy and won't allow it. Deely tries to get to full guard but Harrison has control of the leg. Deely is positioning himself well to prevent Harrison advancing to mount. Deely is looking to improve his position.
Deely is working hard here to advance position. Harrison seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Harrison with the ground and pound but Deely uses the opportunity to regain guard. Deely not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Deely scores a takedown into full mount! Harrison looks gassed! Deely moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Harrison has worked his arm free - good work by Harrison!
Harrison is pushing Deely's head away, looking to escape. Deely manages to hold on to the position though. Deely decides to take the fight back to the feet. Deely shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Harrison's guard. Harrison has momentary wrist control but Deely slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Deely dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Deely has Harrison up against the cage in a clinch.
A body shot lands from Deely.
Deely manages to break the clinch.
Deely closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Harrison is not content to let Deely control the position. Deely controlling from side mount. Harrison is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deely has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Sean Deely just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Harrison keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Deely looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Harrison avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Deely. Well, if Deely is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Harrison is trying to control but can't.
Deely trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Deely stands up from half guard. Sean Deely seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Deely closes the distance and clinches. Harrison wants to break the clinch but can't.
Deely looking for a takedown. Deely drags the fight down to the ground.
Deely is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Harrison dives into side control.
Harrison trying to control the action but Deely is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Deely tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Harrison presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Deely tries to improve his position but instead Harrison has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Deely dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Deely takes the fight into the clinch. Harrison drops down looking for an ankle pick but Deely pulls his leg out and moves away.
Deely misses with a head kick.
Harrison blocks a head kick by Deely.
Harrison fails with the takedown and Deely counters with a single leg into guard. Harrison didn't expect that. Deely postures up.
Deely stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harrison swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harrison wants to stand up but Deely is controlling him. Deely decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deely missing with a left hand there. Harrison was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Harrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Deely. Deely tries to clinch up but Harrison circles away and keeps his distance. Deely throws an overhand right that lands on Harrison's shoulder, as Harrison tries to avoid the shot. Harrison misses with a takedown attempt and Deely counters with a shoot takedown. Harrison fights it but they end up in guard. Sean Deely has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dave Harrison. Harrison takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Harrison keeping full guard, as Deely tries to pass. Sean Deely overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Deely passes Harrison's left leg - he's now in half guard. Deely wants to stand up but Harrison is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison is defending against the submission attempts here by Deely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Deely thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Harrison's head. Deely content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Deely wants to pass the guard but Harrison is defending well. Deely stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Harrison to get to his feet. Deely darts in and clinches Harrison up against the cage. Harrison prevents a takedown attempt there.
Harrison tries to pull guard but Deely won't allow it.
Harrison wants a takedown.
Harrison prevents Deely from breaking the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Deely avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Harrison can't break the clinch.
Harrison keeps control of Deely as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Deely wants to get back to striking at distance but Harrison won't allow it.
Deely wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Harrison wants to stall.
Harrison tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Deely smiles and moves away.
Deely fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Deely wants to clinch up but Harrison keeps it at a distance. Deely throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dave Harrison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Deely fails with the takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Sean Deely showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Deely, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
