Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cody Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hassan Al Aziz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rogers might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Get up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Aziz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rogers but Rogers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Al Aziz shoots in and drives through. Rogers sprawls well.

It looks like Cody Rogers has been cut.

Al Aziz lands a head kick. Rogers smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Cody Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hassan Al Aziz.
Al Aziz throws a sloppy head kick and Rogers moves out of range easily.
Al Aziz is breathing heavily.

Rogers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Al Aziz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rogers as he jumps to the side.
Some bone on bone action there as Al Aziz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Al Aziz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rogers explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Nice shot lands for Rogers.
It looks like Hassan Al Aziz has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rogers lands with a big left! Al Aziz is wobbled badly! Rogers comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Al Aziz to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Cody Rogers!
