Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arjan Bhullar (ranked 692 p4p, 663 weight class) and Bagel Boss (ranked 105 p4p, 103 weight class). Bhullar comes to the cage accompanied by Daniel Cormier - All About That Cake. The crowd seem to be enjoying Boss's choice of entrance music: 6 Foot 7 Foot. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 1, fighting out of London, Arjan Bhullar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bagel Boss!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bhullar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bhullar showed some decent athleticism there.

Boss has one foot on Bhullar's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Bhullar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Boss's half guard.

Boss manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bhullar keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Boss's coach down at 3Band MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Boss's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Bhullar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Boss manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Boss is looking to stand up but Bhullar isn't so interested in that idea.

Bhullar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Boss decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bhullar, up you get!

Boss stuffs the takedown attempt from Bhullar. Bhullar gets slowly back to his feet.
Boss throws a body shot but no joy.

Bhullar fails with a takedown attempt.

Boss wants to slow Bhullar down by chopping away at his legs.

Boss has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bhullar is on him like a limpet, forcing Boss back against the cage.
Bhullar has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Boss avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Boss is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bhullar avoids the body shot from Boss.
Boss throws a head kick that misses.
Boss throws a sloppy head kick and Bhullar moves out of range easily.
Bhullar shoots in for a double leg but Boss sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bhullar or perhaps it was just good defense by Boss, which made it look bad.
Boss scores with a hook to the body. Bhullar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Boss clobbers Bhullar with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Boss thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bhullar if he has to take too many more of those.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boss throws a right and a left that Bhullar avoids nicely.

Bhullar dives in for a single leg takedown but Boss sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Bhullar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boss defends well and Bhullar ends up having to push Boss into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bhullar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Boss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A left and a right from Boss both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Arjan Bhullar has been cut.
A cross from Boss lands.
Boss swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boss bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bhullar's head.
Bagel Boss seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Oooooh!!! Boss has knocked Bhullar down with a huge combo! Boss steps away and waves a wobbly Bhullar back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Bhullar is rocked!
Boss cracks Bhullar with a left hook right on the temple and Bhullar goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Boss lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bhullar is OK!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bagel Boss!
