Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nikola Tesla (ranked 2476 p4p, 2503 weight class) and Quinan Jones (ranked 304 p4p, 308 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tesla misses with a body punch
and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No joy there for Tesla, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Tesla throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Tesla lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
Tesla takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tesla scores with a body shot.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones lands a glancing blow to the side of Tesla's head.
Jones scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tesla has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Nice sprawl there from Jones as Tesla shoots in.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tesla.

Tesla tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tesla uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Tesla attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away.
Tesla swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.

Tesla lands with an uppercut that bounces Jones off the cage and back into range.

Tesla takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tesla uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.
Tesla misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tesla ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tesla on the side of the head.
Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tesla connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet.
Tesla has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Tesla's head.
Nikola Tesla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jones looks for the body kick but Tesla saw that one coming.
Tesla drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jones sprawls and moves away.

Jones fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tesla on the side of the head.

Tesla shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jones.
Tesla scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Quinan Jones has been cut.
Jones moves away from the strike by Tesla.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tesla.
An inside leg kick lands from Jones.
Jones moves out of range of the strikes.
Jones misses with a hook.
Jones lands with a nice body punch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jones cracks Tesla with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Oh Tesla is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones connects with a nice cross there... Tesla is looking wobbly and Jones recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Tesla to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Jones jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
