And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Tucker!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods shoots and misses
and Tucker counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Woods avoids the body shot from Tucker.
Woods fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Woods has Tucker up against the cage in a clinch.

Tucker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jab, jab by Tucker - just one landing.

It looks like Joey Woods has been cut.

Woods shoots in for a takedown but Tucker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tucker! But no joy.
Tucker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Woods on the side of the head.
Tucker connects with a right hand. Woods shakes it off.
Charles Tucker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Woods takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Woods tries for a takedown but Tucker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tucker scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Woods changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tucker tries to avoid it but Woods manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tucker to the ground. Tucker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tucker lands a really nice looking cross but Woods seems unphased.
Woods dives in and grabs Tucker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tucker pushes down on Woods's head and hops out.
Tucker looks to land a left hand but Woods moved out of range nicely.
Tucker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Woods is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tucker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tucker wants it to stay on the feet.
Woods looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tucker is fending him off so far but Woods persists. Nope, Tucker circles away and we're back to standing.
Woods gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Woods ducks under a wild hook from Tucker.
Tucker throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Woods throwing a counter right hand but Tucker manages to avoid it.
Tucker misses with a body shot.
Woods dives in for a single leg takedown but Tucker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Tucker breaks the clinch.
Tucker leaves Woods with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Woods tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tucker defends well and Woods ends up having to push Tucker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Woods changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tucker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Woods is breathing heavily.
Tucker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Woods's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tucker connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Woods scrambles back to his feet.

Woods is rocked!
Tucker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Woods looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Woods is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Woods looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tucker dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Woods is holding his hands too far apart here. Tucker throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Woods is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Charles Tucker!
In his post fight interview, Charles Tucker started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Joey Woods was interviewed post fight and said 'I tried my best today. For my fans and my sponsors I want to day thanks for your support. I'll be back!! '.
