Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dick Niaz!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz rushes Nadadora and presses him up against the cage.
Nadadora tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Niaz's elbow.
Niaz jumps into guard, dragging Nadadora to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Niaz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Niaz works his way into full mount!
Niaz throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Nadadora has his hands clasped together but Niaz breaks the hold and Nadadora is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Niaz!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dick Niaz!
