Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lo Aria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Wattson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aria's entrance music is Bruce Lee "Kung Fu Fighting". A fine choice. Lo Aria had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Aria coming out on top.
It looks like Steve Wattson has been cut.
A head kick misses from Aria.
Aria stuffs the takedown attempt from Wattson. Wattson gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wattson.
A big head kick from Aria and Wattson is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Aria avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wattson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Aria gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Aria moves in looking to clinch but Wattson pushes him off.

Aria really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wattson goes for a takedown attempt but Aria pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lo Aria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Wattson.
Wattson swats away the attempt to clinch by Aria.
Aria tries a head kick but it misses.
Wattson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aria as he avoids it easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The fight stays on the outside here - Aria looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wattson shoots in and bounces Aria off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Wattson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aria manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wattson has Aria in his guard.
Aria has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wattson is proving hard to escape from.
Wattson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Aria passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wattson looking for a sweep but Aria has passed into full mount! Oh no!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Aria's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Aria tries to clinch up but Wattson circles away and keeps his distance.

Aria closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Aria swings wildly with an uppercut but Wattson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Aria has a couple of punches blocked by Wattson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wattson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Aria fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Aria throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wattson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wattson shoots in for a takedown but Aria shows good takedown defense.
Aria is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Aria forces Wattson back against the cage and clinches.

Wattson is working for takedown but Aria is calmly controlling the position for now.
Wattson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Aria smiles and moves away.

Lo Aria is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wattson is breathing heavily.
Aria ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Wattson shoots for a double leg takedown but Aria sprawls well. He's pushed Wattson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Aria goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Steve Wattson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Steve Wattson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
