Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Delahoya (ranked 5936 p4p, 4739 weight class) and Jin Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jin Kane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Delahoya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jin Kane! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane clinches. Delahoya tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Delahoya goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kane is working Delahoya over against the cage. Kane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Delahoya gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kane manages to break the clinch.
Kane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Delahoya sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kane somewhat. Kane tries for a takedown but Delahoya sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Delahoya wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Jason Delahoya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kane. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delahoya keeps the fight on the outside. Kane forces Delahoya back against the cage and clinches. Kane decides to pull guard. Delahoya is looking to work some ground and pound but Kane has wrist control.

Kane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Delahoya's guard. Kane wants to pass to mount but Delahoya is defending the position. Delahoya swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Delahoya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kane on the ground. Delahoya wants to try and get back to his feet. Delahoya really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Kane content just to control the position here. Kane is working for a guillotine from mount but Delahoya frees his head quite easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Delahoya tries to reverse the position but Kane maintains control. Delahoya throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Kane has control of Delahoya's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Delahoya regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kane is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Delahoya can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Kane wants to control the pace but Delahoya is squirming around nicely. Kane punishing his opponent with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kane sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kane stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane misses the shot to the body. Delahoya appears to be looking for a big counter. Delahoya stuffs the takedown. A quick step to the side and Delahoya tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Kane has taken the fight to the clinch.
Delahoya is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Kane blocks a body shot from Delahoya. Delahoya misses with a punch on the inside.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kane lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Delahoya backwards. Delahoya looking for a takedown. Kane is struggling to control the position. Delahoya can't find room to land a body shot as Kane controls the action.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delahoya's waist but Delahoya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kane off to one side. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Delahoya swings wildly with an uppercut but Kane uses good head movement to avoid it. Delahoya misses with the head strike.
Delahoya tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kane blocks a body shot from Delahoya. Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jin Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kane rushes Delahoya and presses him up against the cage. Delahoya throws a head punch that misses. Delahoya drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kane pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kane has his takedown stuffed and Delahoya counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kane tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Delahoya defends well and Kane ends up having to push Delahoya into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kane darts in looking for a takedown but Delahoya gets double underhooks and turns Kane into the cage. It looked like Delahoya wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Kane with a poor takedown and Delahoya counters with a nice uppercut. The fight moves into the clinch position. Delahoya tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kane's elbow. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Kane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A head kick by Kane misses and Kane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jin Kane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kane moves into the clinch successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delahoya looking to slow down the pace here. Kane pulls guard effortlessly. Delahoya trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Delahoya postures up in Kane's guard and throws a big left but Kane blocks it. Delahoya throws a big right hand that misses. Kane looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Kane preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kane is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kane utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Delahoya stopping the sweep attempt from Kane. Jason Delahoya has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jin Kane is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Delahoya throws a strike but Kane rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jin Kane. Well Kane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
