Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Trejo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Newton Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Trejo misses.
Trejo scores with a nice strike.
Diaz blocks a jab.
Diaz tries to clinch up but Trejo circles away and keeps his distance.
It looked like Trejo was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Diaz.
The fighters circling - Diaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Trejo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Diaz under the eye.
Diaz scores with a nice strike.
Trejo lands with a right hand.
Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trejo as he jumps to the side.
We've been told by Trejo's head coaches at King's Cross MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Trejo wants to get back to his feet but Diaz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Trejo pushes Diaz back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Trejo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diaz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Trejo cracks Diaz with an open hand slap.
Trejo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Trejo is stalking Diaz. Diaz circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Trejo, and it's lights out! Diaz really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Danny Trejo!
During a confident post fight interview, Danny Trejo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
