Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Daxton Dupont (ranked 6972 p4p, 3343 weight class) and Gonther Fertin (ranked 482 p4p, 321 weight class). The key to victory for Daxton Dupont has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupont throws a sloppy head kick and Fertin moves out of range easily.
Dupont misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and before Fertin can reset, Dupont rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Fertin is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!

Fertin is rocked!

Dupont gets a clinch.
Fertin is still on wobbly legs! Can Dupont finish him?

Dupont breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dupont will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Fertin seems to have recovered his senses.
Fertin moves out of range as Dupont throws a body kick.

Dupont clinches with his opponent.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Fertin is trying to stall.
Fertin is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Dupont has denied him.
Fertin wants to get back to striking at distance but Dupont won't allow it.
Dupont has had enough of the clinch but Fertin keeps him there for the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dupont is trying to maintain a safe position but Fertin gets an underhook and turns Dupont into the ropes.
Dupont really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Dupont breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dupont blocks a low kick nicely.
As Fertin looks to move away, Dupont throws a big counter combo but Fertin just gets out of the way.
Dupont lands a right and a left and another right! Fertin goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
