Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Audie Graham (ranked 6734 p4p, 25340 weight class) and Jay Lane (ranked 197 p4p, 215 weight class). Lane has chosen "The Batdance" by Prince as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Audie Graham !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Lane!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graham bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lane's head.
It looks like Jay Lane has been cut.
Graham gets a clinch.
Lane is looking to take this one to the mat.
Graham fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lane tries to pull guard but Graham forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Graham pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Graham seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Graham steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lane.
Graham moves out of range of the body kick.
Graham throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lane shoots in but no luck this time.
Graham is looking for a counter combo.

Graham manages to break the clinch.

Lane tries to clinch but Graham moves out of range.
Graham looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Graham lands a head kick. Lane smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Lane tries to score a power double leg takedown but Graham sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lane somewhat.

Graham bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lane's guard.
Graham tries to free his leg and advance position but Lane is retaining full guard.
Graham is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Graham seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Graham seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lane for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Graham escapes and gets back to his feet.
Graham moves into the clinch successfully.

Graham goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Graham thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Lane if he has to take too many more of those.

Graham is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lane can do to turn this around?

Lane throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Graham tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lane is in Graham 's guard.
Graham is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Lane presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Lane takes a shot to the head.
Graham stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Graham misses with a takedown attempt - Lane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Graham fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lane displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Graham .
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Graham gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lane to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Well Graham has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
