PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Temirbek Yuldashev (ranked 3510 p4p, 5643 weight class) and Duncan Spade (ranked 478 p4p, 669 weight class). Yuldashev comes to the cage accompanied by Лезгинка - Мой нанак. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Temirbek Yuldashev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Duncan Spade!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuldashev jabs Spade to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Spade throws a right and a left that Yuldashev avoids nicely.

Yuldashev drops Spade with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Spade looks back up at him and smiles so Yuldashev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Duncan Spade has been cut.
Spade misses with a takedown attempt - Yuldashev sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Yuldashev cracks Spade with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Yuldashev has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Spade to stand back up!

Spade is rocked!
Yuldashev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Lakeside Jiu-Jitsu in the buildup to the fight.
Yuldashev ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Spade out cold! The fight is over!
