Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroshi Yamashita!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Xiao Tzu!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamashita walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Yamashita blocks a head kick by Tzu.
Tzu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Yamashita looks for a takedown but Tzu sprawls well.
Donk. Tzu catches Yamashita right on the button with a cross.
Tzu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Tzu throws a head kick but Yamashita moves out of range.
Yamashita lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Yamashita moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Xiao Tzu has been cut.
Yamashita looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A countering left hand to the body from Tzu misses.
Tzu lands the left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yamashita closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tzu, as that shot connected.
Yamashita misses with the combination.
Tzu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yamashitas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Yamashita walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Yamashita moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Yamashita throws a powerful right kick. Tzu tried to block low but the kick was high! Tzu was taken right off of his feet! Yamashita jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hiroshi Yamashita!
