Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lance Rip!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathers displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rip throws out the jab.
Mathers ducks under a wild hook from Rip.

Mathers is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Rip.
Nice uppercut lands for Rip. That snapped Mathers's head back.
Mathers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rip.
Rip is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mathers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rip as he jumps to the side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rip throws a head punch that misses.

Rip dips a shoulder and cracks Mathers with a mighty uppercut! Mathers falls back against the cage and Rip unloads with a barrage of strikes! Mathers is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Rip screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Rip!
