Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dustin Sultan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Claude Giguere!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giguere gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Giguere escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Giguere fails with a takedown attempt.
Sultan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Giguere but Giguere pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Giguere is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sultan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sultan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Giguere was covering up waiting for the punch and Sultan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sultan cracks Giguere with a solid left hand.
Sultan working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Giguere throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Giguere keeping moving, preventing Sultan from controlling successfully.
Sultan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Giguere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sultan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sultan advances position into side control!
Sultan wants to control but Giguere is keeping him busy.
Sultan looks up at the clock and then as Giguere takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sultan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Sultan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Giguere keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sultan looks up at the clock and then as Giguere takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sultan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sultan cracks Giguere with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Giguere is rocked!
Giguere tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Giguere is still in real trouble! Can Sultan finish him?

Sultan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sultan lands a strong strike to the head of Giguere. That's dazed him! Sultan looking to finish here. Giguere is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Sultan lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
