Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy King (ranked 4820 p4p, 4832 weight class) and Geraint Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 501 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones forces King back against the cage and clinches.
King has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle.
Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.

Jones has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed King clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

King needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.

King seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Jones dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

Jones has King pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. King manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming King to the mat! King manages to get full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
King wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jones is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
King is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! King is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and King manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into King's guard.

King is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
Jones throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tommy King will probably get the nod.

King is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Jones locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! King is forced to tap!
