Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Musan Zaintashara (ranked 1311 p4p, 4987 weight class) and Rammaru Nokkau (ranked 197 p4p, 643 weight class). Zaintashara's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Art of War. Nokkau has chosen When We Ride On Our Enemies as his entrance music. Musan Zaintashara could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rammaru Nokkau's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Musan Zaintashara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rammaru Nokkau!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nokkau misses with the combination.
Zaintashara avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zaintashara ducks under a wild hook from Nokkau.

Nokkau forces Zaintashara back against the cage and clinches.
Nokkau wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nokkau is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Zaintashara is defending well for now.

Nokkau gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Zaintashara regains guard.

Zaintashara looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Zaintashara has his foot on Nokkau's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nokkau works his way back into a safe position though.

Zaintashara is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nokkau is aware though and is defending well.
Nokkau keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zaintashara's head.
Zaintashara trying to keep a closed guard but Nokkau is proving a slippery customer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zaintashara looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Nokkau puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Nokkau seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Nokkau is looking for a kimura here.

Zaintashara is refusing to be controlled, as Nokkau sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nokkau working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Nokkau not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Zaintashara looking for submissions off his back.
Zaintashara's coaches at King's Cross MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Zaintashara manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Zaintashara working for a triangle but Nokkau defends it easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nokkau accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Nokkau looking to sit in guard and control but Zaintashara gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Nokkau is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Nokkau will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Zaintashara slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Nokkau is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Nokkau is looking to improve his position.
Zaintashara content to control rather than advance.

Nokkau flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Nokkau looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Zaintashara pushes past his half guard into mount!

Zaintashara with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Nokkau swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Nokkau is trying desperately to improve position.

Zaintashara looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zaintashara avoids the attempt from Nokkau to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Zaintashara prevents Nokkau from getting the reversal.
Zaintashara controlling the pace for now.
Nokkau is in all sorts of trouble here.

Zaintashara goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Nokkau turns into him and now he's in Zaintashara's guard.
Zaintashara tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Zaintashara looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nokkau stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zaintashara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zaintashara is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Nokkau postures up and lands a big shot to Zaintashara's brow.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rammaru Nokkau will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nokkau swings for the body but Zaintashara moves out of range.
Nokkau moves in looking to clinch but Zaintashara pushes him off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nokkau. Zaintashara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Zaintashara bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Rammaru Nokkau has been cut.
Nokkau takes one to the chin there.

Nokkau is rocked!
Nokkau throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nokkau is still on wobbly legs! Can Zaintashara finish him?
Nokkau throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zaintashara counters with a slapping leg kick.
Nokkau glances at the clock... BAM! Zaintashara nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Nokkau crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Nokkau is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Musan Zaintashara!
Our winner, Musan Zaintashara, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
