Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hinski Grang (ranked 6475 p4p, 3892 weight class) and Marckus Reece (ranked 662 p4p, 0 weight class). Grang comes to the cage accompanied by JID - Ed, Edd & Eddy. Marckus Reece has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hinski Grang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hinski Grang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marckus Reece!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reece tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Grang counters with a stiff right hand.
Reece moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Grang lands with a straight right. Reece didn't see that one coming.

Reece closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Grang is pushing Reece's head away, looking to escape. Reece manages to hold on to the position though.
Grang wants to get back to his feet but Reece is dominant here and he's now got Grang's back!
Grang is trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grang definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Reece has his opponent's back but Grang is looking to stand. He manages to get to his feet and shakes off Reece.

Grang gets caught napping as Reece dives in and scores a takedown. Grang manages to retain guard.

Grang pushes Reece off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grang moves out of range of the leg kick from Reece.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A jab from Grang does it's job there.
Grang fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Grang cracks Reece with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Grang scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Danga de danga de dang - Grang scores with a four punch combination!
Reece is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Reece misses with a hook to the body
and Reece takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Grang pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Reece back to the cage. Grang follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Reece is rocked!

Reece bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Grang throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Reece looks winded!
Reece tries to clinch up but Grang circles away and keeps his distance.
Grang throws a big counter combination but Reece scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Grang jabs Reece right on the nose. Reece blinks but takes it well.
Reece is still on wobbly legs! Can Grang finish him?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grang connects with a single shot there.
Grang lands a nice shot to the body.
Grang lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Reece can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Grang and Reece drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Grang.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hinski Grang!
Hinski Grang decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Marckus Reece stepped up to the mic, saying 'I came out and did my best, I accepted this fight to help out the great promoters here. Time to get better,'.
