Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reshay Mayne (ranked 4980 p4p, 2760 weight class) and Hector Mendoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Mendoza has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mayne has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Mendoza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
