Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between James King (ranked 22755 p4p, 21184 weight class) and Spas Spasov (ranked 709 p4p, 686 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 27 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spas Spasov! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spasov tries to close the distance and clinch up but King swats him away and circles back towards the center. King moves into range and clinches up with Spasov. King blocks a body shot from Spasov. Spasov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Spasov throws a right and a left that both miss. Spasov fails in his attempt to clinch. King smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. King has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spasov, pushing him back against the ropes. King is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Spasov is defending well for now. A quick uppercut on the inside from King. King lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! King misses with a knee strike.
Spasov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. King pushes Spasov back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Spasov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We've been informed that Spasov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Spasov tries a body shot but King blocks it.

King went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. King throws a push kick but Spasov slaps the foot to one side. King throws a solid leg kick but Spasov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at King. King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A right-left combo lands from King. That was a close second round but I would say that James King will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Spas Spasov's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! James King showed his dominance in that final round. Well King has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
