Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zacharias Kassicus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Waldron!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kassicus connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Waldron takes a body punch but keeps moving.

A nice side step and Waldron releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Kassicus cracks Waldron with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Waldron takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Waldron takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Kassicus pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Kassicus throws a jab but it's blocked by Waldron.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kassicus here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Kassicus looks to throw the jab but Waldron is out of range.

and Waldron counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kassicus's knee momentarily.

Kassicus is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Waldron can do to turn this around?

and before Kassicus has any time to reset, Waldron cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
