Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Khabib Yann (ranked 4996 p4p, 4914 weight class) and Old Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khabib Yann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Old Man!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yann shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Man manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Yann trying to control the position from guard on top but Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Man wants to stand up but Yann is controlling him.
Man wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Yann manages to pass to side control.
Man is trying to stand.
Yann is working for a submission of some sort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yann passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Man!
Man wants to try and get back to his feet.
Yann working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Yann tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Yann tries to control but Man wriggling away.
Yann is really struggling to control Man but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Yann wants to finish this one by submission but Man is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yann.

Yann goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Man is on top in guard.
Yann is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Man has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Yann is proving hard to escape from.
Yann throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Man escapes and throws Yann's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Yann tries to escape but Man is in control.
Yann tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Man presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Yann really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Yann tries to lock up and control but Man gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yann tries to reverse the position but Man maintains control.
Man stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Yann tries to score a power double leg takedown but Man sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yann somewhat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Khabib Yann will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Yann shoots in and gets a takedown into Man's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Man manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Man is trying to break the clinch but Yann is controlling him.
Yann wants to take the fight to the mat but Man manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Man lands a right hand that snaps the head of Yann backwards.

Yann is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Man gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Yann tries to pull guard but Man holds him up against the cage and eventually Yann drops back down to his feet.

Yann keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Man's efforts to push away.

A short right from Man on the inside.
Man wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yann has him pressed against the cage.
Yann wants to take the fight to the mat but Man manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Man's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Man is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Man is looking to break free of the clinch but Yann has double underhooks.
Yann tries to score a body lock takedown but Man shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Yann can't get the takedown.
Yann is looking to take this one to the mat.
Man wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Man lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Yann is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Man is defending well.
Man gets underhooks to prevent Yann's takedown attempt.

Yann has Man pressed against the cage, preventing Man from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Man is trying to force a seperation but Yann has the dominant position.

Old Man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Man lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Man.
Yann is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
It looks like Khabib Yann has been cut.
Man closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Yann out cold! Yann corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
