Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Craig Davis (ranked 4591 p4p, 5363 weight class) and Hou Shang Lou (ranked 0 p4p, 251 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lou as he avoids it easily.
Lou tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lou misses with a wild body shot.
Davis lands with a straight right. Lou didn't see that one coming.
Sloppy strikes from Davis. Those never looked like landing.

Davis gets caught flat footed, as Lou shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lou slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As Lou tries to get set, Davis tries to push him back and clinch up but Lou manages to avoid the attempt.

Lou dives in and grabs Davis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes down on Lou's head and hops out.

Hou Shang Lou showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
