Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Tomson (ranked 2031 p4p, 1386 weight class) and Rakeem Marley (ranked 284 p4p, 207 weight class). Marley has chosen Damian Marley - Welcome to Jamrock as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Tomson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rakeem Marley!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tomson.
Tomson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marley.
A decent looking cross lands there for Marley.
Marley jabs Tomson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Marley throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Marley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Rakeem Marley has been cut.
Marley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tomson as he avoids it easily.
A big left from Tomson misses.
Marley rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tomson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tomson misses with an uppercut
enabling Marley to counter with a crisp jab.
Tomson misses with a hook
and Marley counters with a stiff right hand.
Marley has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Marley walks into a stiff left hand from Tomson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marley throws a right hand that Tomson ducks under and follows up with a left that Tomson also avoids with ease.
Tom Tomson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tomson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tomson throws a big counter combination but Marley scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Tomson connects with a body shot that sends Marley's belly button to the back.
Marley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Good exchange - Tomson coming out on top.
Marley throws a body shot but no joy.
Marley gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Tomson gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
