Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Bones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, TySon Dragon!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Bones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bones not doing much here.

Bones decides to stand and escape the position.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bones.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bones content to control rather than advance.

Bones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Dragon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bones changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Bones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dragon is looking to get back to his feet here but Bones is keeping cool and he's managed to take Dragon's back.
Bones connects with a big shot to the side of Dragon's head.
Bones really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Dragon.

Dragon is trapped and Bones is scoring with shots to the head and body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bones lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Bones looking to break Dragon's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dragon remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bones will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Bones thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Dragon is covering up but some of the strikes from Bones are getting through and doing damage.

Bones plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Bones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dragon sprawls well initially but Bones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dragon for as long as he can get away with.
Dragon is breathing heavily.

Bones looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dragon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dragon wants to stand back up but Bones manages to pass into side control.
Johnny Bones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bones tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bones has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Bones advances to mount.
Dragon is trying desperately to improve position.
Bones controlling his opponent.

Bones lands a heavy elbow.
Bones landing strikes, looking to finish!
Bones breaks from Dragon's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Bones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bones is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Dragon is in real trouble.
Dragon is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Dragon is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Bones is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dragon knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dragon for a finish.

Bones drives through with a takedown into Dragon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Bones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dragon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
