Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bruno Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poison Ivy!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ivy fails with a takedown attempt.
Ivy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Salvacion is fending him off so far but Ivy persists. Nope, Salvacion circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bruno Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Poison Ivy.

As Salvacion backs off Ivy throws a huge counter combo but Salvacion manages to avoid it all.

Salvacion is trying to pull guard but Ivy turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Salvacion wants to take the fight to the mat but Ivy manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Salvacion is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ivy gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Salvacion is trying to maintain the position but Ivy is very close to passing his half guard.

It looks like Ivy might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Ivy wants to stand but Salvacion has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Salvacion dives in and grabs Ivy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ivy pushes down on Salvacion's head and hops out.

Ivy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salvacion swivels and escapes.

Ivy postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Salvacion to stand up.

Ivy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ivy wants it to stay on the feet.
Ivy shoots for a takedown but Salvacion saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ivy throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ivy is in Salvacion's guard.

Ivy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ivy stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Salvacion stuffs the takedown.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick.
Salvacion takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Poison Ivy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ivy steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Poison Ivy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Ivy is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Salvacion dives into side control.

I would just about give that final round to Poison Ivy.
Well Ivy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
