Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Eagle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Welsh ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eli Eagle! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Welsh missing with a left hand there. Eagle was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Eagle fails with a takedown attempt. Eagle fails with the takedown. Welsh throws a nice inside leg kick. Eagle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Welsh but Welsh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Chris Welsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eli Eagle. Eagle fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Eagle will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Welsh gets the takedown into side control. Eagle looks gassed! Welsh scoring with punches and elbows. Welsh lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Eagle is working to avoid the ground and pound but Welsh connects with a decent elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Welsh creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Welsh working the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Welsh trying to control the action but Eagle is working from the bottom. Eagle is trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Welsh working the head with strikes. Welsh wants to stand but Eagle has his arm trapped. Welsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eagle on the ground. Eagle is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Welsh 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Welsh takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Eagle missing with punches from the bottom.
Eagle on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Eagle looking for submissions off his back. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Welsh lands a nice short elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Welsh lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Welsh tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Eagle. Eagle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Eagle throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Eagle has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Welsh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Eagle trying to keep a closed guard but Welsh is proving a slippery customer.
Welsh wants to stand but Eagle is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eagle has his feet on Welsh 's thighs here. He's pushed Welsh off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Welsh screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
