Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ravi Vamoosh (ranked 2421 p4p, 3032 weight class) and Ono Kuronoa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vamoosh's entrance music is The Roaring Tiger. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looked like Vamoosh was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kuronoa.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kuronoa tries to work over Vamoosh's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Vamoosh lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kuronoa has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Vamoosh seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Kuronoa can turn it around.
