Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 1461 p4p, 2814 weight class) and Agent Orange (ranked 90 p4p, 165 weight class). Agent Orange has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Takeshi Yuudai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Agent Orange! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orange stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Orange wants it to stay on the feet. Yuudai slaps away a takedown attempt from Orange, before circling back to the center of the mat. Yuudai definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Orange drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Yuudai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Orange's guard.
Orange isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Yuudai stacks Orange on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Yuudai! Yuudai is staying tight to Orange's torso, preventing him from escaping. Yuudai tries to move to mount but Orange blocks the move with his legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yuudai in side control, just content to control the action for now. Yuudai's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yuudai seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Orange for as long as he can get away with. Orange prevents Yuudai from improving position. Yuudai controls the position. Orange struggling a bit here. Orange keeping his opponent close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Yuudai trying to control the position but Orange is working away. Yuudai working away. Yuudai working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Yuudai has knee on belly and moves into mount. Orange tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yuudai throwing strikes here but Orange is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yuudai continues to stall. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Takeshi Yuudai dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Yuudai goes for a double leg but Orange avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Orange continues to drive forward. Yuudai fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeshi Yuudai. That's going to take a lot out of him. Orange jumps guard but Yuudai turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Yuudai misses with a short punch on the inside. Yuudai has clasped his hands together around Orange's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Orange is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Yuudai's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Orange wants to control but Yuudai is keeping busy.
Well, if Yuudai is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's one minute gone in the round. Orange looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Yuudai prevents Orange from improving his position. Yuudai performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Orange controlling the position well. Yuudai is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Orange can do to turn this around? Yuudai is looking to take a break and control but Orange is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Orange wants to control but Yuudai is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Yuudai shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Orange sprawls well. Orange wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Yuudai gets slowly back to his feet. Yuudai closes the distance and clinches. Orange drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yuudai wants to control from the top but Orange keeps moving. Orange has an active guard here but Yuudai has managed to pass into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Yuudai is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Orange doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yuudai. Orange is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. What's Orange going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Yuudai content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. A control attempt from Orange but he's now mounted! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yuudai looking to control and managing it successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Takeshi Yuudai dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Orange tries to sprawl but Yuudai drives through with a takedown into half guard. Yuudai with the ground and pound but Orange uses the opportunity to regain guard. Orange is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Orange working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yuudai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yuudai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Orange working for a triangle but Yuudai defends it easily.

Orange is looking to control Yuudai's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Orange avoid being mounted? Yuudai is looking to stall here but Orange recovers full guard. Yuudai looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yuudai trying to control but Orange is working from the bottom. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Orange escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yuudai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Orange is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yuudai is aware though and is defending well. Yuudai passes Orange's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Orange is not content to let Yuudai control the position. Yuudai is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Takeshi Yuudai is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Yuudai manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Orange on his heels. He'll look to pass Orange's guard now, I'm sure. Yuudai trying to control the position from guard on top but Orange is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yuudai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yuudai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Yuudai trying to control but Orange is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Orange has his foot on Yuudai's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yuudai works his way back into a safe position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Takeshi Yuudai showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yuudai, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
