The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mice closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mice lands in his opponent's guard.
Hamald looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mice is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Mice trying to control but Hamald is working from the bottom.
Mice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hamald swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hamald wants to get back to his feet but Mice is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Mice works a leg free and moves into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
