Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Koa Nightmarcher (ranked 962 p4p, 1663 weight class) and Rory Wexler (ranked 128 p4p, 215 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nightmarcher lands a nice hook to Wexler's body. Wexler takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wexler lands a jab to the head.
Wexler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Nightmarcher clobbers Wexler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Nightmarcher has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Nightmarcher jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wexler walks away with a smile on his face. Nightmarcher gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nightmarcher is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wexler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Wexler presses Nightmarcher against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Oh Nightmarcher is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wexler dips a shoulder and cracks Nightmarcher with a mighty uppercut! Nightmarcher falls back against the cage and Wexler unloads with a barrage of strikes! Nightmarcher is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Wexler screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rory Wexler!
