Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fujiwara Hisamori (ranked 3011 p4p, 4363 weight class) and Kasper Hansen (ranked 292 p4p, 401 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fujiwara Hisamori!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Kasper Hansen!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hisamori gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hansen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Hansen won't allow Hisamori to sweep him here.
Hisamori being controlled here, momentarily.
Hansen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hisamori working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hansen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hansen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hisamori is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hansen is aware though and is defending well.

Hansen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hansen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hisamori tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You can see the frustration on Hisamori's face as Hansen controls the position.
Hisamori is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hansen is controlling him well.
Hansen in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Hisamori tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hansen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hansen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Hansen throws an elbow but Hisamori slips to the side and avoids it well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hisamori wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Hansen seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Hisamori is tapping! Wow, great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Brabo Choke). Kasper Hansen!
Fujiwara Hisamori was interviewed post fight and said 'Let's do it again!'.
