Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Harper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bop Martinez! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez dodges the punch combination from Harper.
Martinez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Harper drops Martinez with a beautiful combination! Martinez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Harper is looking for the KO!
Martinez is rocked!
It looks like Bop Martinez has been cut. Martinez throws a hook but Harper avoids it easily. Harper gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Martinez drops back looking for a leg! Harper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harper manages to kick Martinez off! Martinez jumps back into Harper's guard. Harper on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Harper tries to get out of the position. Harper wants to sweep here but Martinez controlling him for the moment. Martinez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Martinez drops back looking for a leg! Harper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harper manages to kick Martinez off! Martinez jumps back into Harper's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martinez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Martinez wants to control but Harper is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harper striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Harper keeps Martinez under control for a moment. Harper wants to control but Martinez postures up. Martinez has hold of Harper's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Harper seems comfortable defending it but Martinez has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Harper is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Harper is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Martinez couldn't care less - he's delighted!
