Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noah Pharaoh (ranked 4805 p4p, 4081 weight class) and Jaxson Canellakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaxson Canellakis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noah Pharaoh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jaxson Canellakis! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pharaoh moves into range and connects with a jab. Canellakis drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Pharaoh smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Canellakis takes a jab right on the kisser.
Pharaoh scores with a hook to the body. Canellakis takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Noah Pharaoh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pharaoh avoids the body shot from Canellakis.
Pharaoh digs a good body shot into Canellakis's ribs. Pharaoh bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Canellakis's head. Canellakis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Canellakis there as he acknowledges the shot. Pharaoh jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pharaoh has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Canellakis finds it's way round the side to connect with Pharaoh's head.
It looks like Noah Pharaoh has been cut. Canellakis scores with a takedown into Pharaoh's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Canellakis is in close to Pharaoh's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Pharaoh is rocked! Pharaoh has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Canellakis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Oh Pharaoh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Canellakis has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pharaoh to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Canellakis is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pharaoh pulls down on the head and he's put Canellakis to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Noah Pharaoh!
