Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Dent (ranked 6224 p4p, 3278 weight class) and Hinski Grang (ranked 690 p4p, 441 weight class). Dent kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dr. Feelgood. Grang has chosen JID - Ed, Edd & Eddy as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Dent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hinski Grang!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dent dives in and grabs Grang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Grang pushes down on Dent's head and hops out.
Bobby Dent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dent throws a right hand that misses
and Grang counters with a left to the body.
Dent fails to land the takedown.
Grang unleashes a big counter combination but Dent bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Dent with a poor takedown
and Grang counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Dent. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Grang gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dent to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Grang is looking to stand up but Dent isn't so interested in that idea.
Grang told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Dent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grang kicks Dent off and gets to his feet.
Dent shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Grang counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Grang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hinski Grang was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
