Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Victor Tamarit (ranked 4844 p4p, 5015 weight class) and Magnus Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Tamarit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Magnus Larsen! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsen looks for the body kick but Tamarit saw that one coming. A chopping leg kick lands by Larsen. Larsen lands with a kick to the ribs.
Tamarit closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Larsen did well to prevent Tamarit getting side control. Tamarit scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Tamarit decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Tamarit closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Larsen holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Tamarit missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ground and pound from Tamarit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larsen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tamarit is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tamarit is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Larsen is trying to control but can't.
Nice strikes from Tamarit there. Tamarit stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Larsen to get to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tamarit avoids the head kick by Larsen.
Magnus Larsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Larsen throws a combination. Tamarit tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Tamarit tries to move into range but Larsen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Larsen moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Tamarit scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tamarit thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Larsen's head. Tamarit in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Larsen tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Tamarit!
