Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Fezzik (ranked 4385 p4p, 1593 weight class) and Braun Westen (ranked 84 p4p, 68 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hassan Fezzik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Braun Westen! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Westen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Fezzik under the eye.
It looks like Hassan Fezzik has been cut. We've been told by Fezzik's head coaches at Randall's Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Westen throws a predictable looking body shot
and Fezzik counters with a straight right hand. Westen connects with a solid leg kick. Westen misses the body punch and Fezzik counters with a crisp one two that drops Westen! Fezzik thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Westen to his feet! Westen is in big trouble! A jab from Westen misses. Westen cracks Fezzik with an uppercut from hell and Fezzik crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Westen's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Westen trying to control the position from guard on top but Fezzik is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Westen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Westen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Westen advances to half guard. Fezzik wants to sweep but Westen has passed to side control! Fezzik tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Westen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Fezzik knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Westen on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fezzik looks to move to half guard but instead Westen has passed into mount! Damn! Westen wants to control the pace but Fezzik is squirming around nicely. Fezzik holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Westen tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Westen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fezzik is looking to escape. Westen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fezzik wants to control but Westen is having none of it. Fezzik is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Westen unloading with bombs! Fezzik tries to improve his position but Westen has taken his back! Westen has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Fezzik tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Westen pushes Fezzik away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
