Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corey Plowman (ranked 5298 p4p, 6250 weight class) and James Bomb Jr (ranked 671 p4p, 726 weight class). Plowman comes to the cage accompanied by Outkast - B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corey Plowman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James Bomb Jr!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bomb Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Plowman.
Bomb Jr connects with a body shot that sends Plowman's belly button to the back.
Plowman walks into a left hand.
Bomb Jr bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Bomb Jr.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bomb Jr.
Bomb Jr connects with a leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Plowman. Bomb Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Plowman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Bomb Jr to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Corey Plowman has been cut.
Plowman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bomb Jr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bomb Jr connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Plowman throws a hook but Bomb Jr blocks it.

Bomb Jr pushes Plowman up against the cage in a clinch.
Bomb Jr lands a body punch.
Plowman tries a body shot but Bomb Jr blocks it.
Bomb Jr lands a nice shot to the body.
Bomb Jr is leaning against Plowman and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Plowman is breathing heavily.
A right handed body shot lands from Bomb Jr.
Bomb Jr lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Plowman or not.
Plowman takes a shot to the head.
Bomb Jr throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bomb Jr lands with a right to the head.

Plowman is rocked!
Bomb Jr dips a shoulder and cracks Plowman with a mighty uppercut! Plowman falls back against the cage and Bomb Jr unloads with a barrage of strikes! Plowman is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Bomb Jr screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
