And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 30 wins and 9 losses; Ibbe Ribbler! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Azaryan is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Azaryan clinches up against the ropes. Azaryan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ribbler prevents it.

Azaryan ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Azaryan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Azaryan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Azaryan wants to control but Ribbler passes easily into half guard.
Azaryan tries to roll over but Ribbler keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ribbler looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Azaryan has his hands clasped together around Ribbler's back. He's all about the action. Ribbler works his foot free and advances to mount. That's two minutes gone in the round. Good control from Ribbler. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Ribbler keeps control of the position as Azaryan tries to break free.
Azaryan just trying to survive but Ribbler is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ribbler is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Azaryan can't escape the position.
Ribbler is riding his opponent, not letting Azaryan buck him off. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Azaryan tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Ribbler has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Azaryan is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
