Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bautista Laguna (ranked 4573 p4p, 1543 weight class) and Kyle Austin (ranked 580 p4p, 230 weight class). Austin has chosen Roy Jones. Jr - Can't be Touched as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Laguna takes the fight into the clinch.
Austin tries to land knees in the clinch but Laguna avoids the damage to the body.
Austin has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Austin lands an elbow that stopped Laguna in his tracks for a moment.

Laguna has Austin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Austin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Austin's coach down at EFC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Austin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Bautista Laguna's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
