PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Trump (ranked 5115 p4p, 4984 weight class) and Adonis Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Trump!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adonis Creed!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trump avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Creed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trump but Trump pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Trump could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Trump feints and as Creed raises his hands in defense, Trump changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Creed throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Creed looking for a sweep. Not yet Creed, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trump trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Creed wants to hit a sweep here but Trump passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Creed there!

Trump controlling the position easily from mount.

Trump working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Creed wants to hold on but Trump pushes him away.
Trump will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Trump has control of Creed's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Creed regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Trump controlling the position easily from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Creed tries to lock up and control but Trump gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Creed is looking to get to half guard.
Trump controlling the pace for now.
Trump with shots to the head and body - Creed looks very uncomfortable down there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Trump wants to finish this one by submission but Creed is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Trump.
Creed in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Trump is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Creed is in real trouble.
Trump has the hooks in. Creed is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Trump really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Creed.

You can see the frustration on Creed's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Donald Trump dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

No joy there for Creed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Trump throws a head kick but Creed moves out of range.
Creed connects with a single shot there.
Trump looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Creed is fending him off so far but Trump persists. Nope, Creed circles away and we're back to standing.
Creed tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Trump defends well and Creed ends up having to push Trump into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Trump is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Creed.

Trump closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Creed wants to control the action here but instead Trump manages to pass to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Trump content just to control the position here.
Creed is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Donald Trump overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Creed slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Trump trying to control from Creed's half guard. Creed has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

Creed can't keep his opponent in guard - Trump advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Creed is trying to control but can't.
Creed is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Trump is staying active.
Trump seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Creed works his way to full guard. Good work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Trump won't allow Creed to sweep him here.
Creed is breathing heavily.
Trump seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Trump passes into half guard.
Creed taking some punishment here, with Trump in his half guard.
Creed is looking for a sweep. Trump is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Trump is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Creed!

Trump raining down hammerfists from mount.
Trump controlling from mount.
Trump's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Further stalling from Trump.
Creed tries to control the position but Trump now has his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trump is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Trump is looking for the choke from the back position but Creed is controlling his hands well.

Trump looking for the RNC.
Trump keeps control of the position easily here as Creed tries to buck him off.
Trump is landing with strikes. Creed can't take much more of this.

Creed is rocked!

Trump is cranking Creed's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Creed! He's tightened the choke and Creed is tapping out!
