Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Odd Job (ranked 1112 p4p, 1637 weight class) and Nolan Diaz (ranked 169 p4p, 236 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nolan Diaz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Odd Job! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nolan Diaz! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz misses the shot to the body. Diaz throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Diaz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Diaz throws out a loose jab but Job uses good head movement to avoid it. Diaz misses with a series of wild punches.
Job swings widly with a right hand
and Diaz counters with a nice body shot. Job waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diaz. Diaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Job throws out the jab. Diaz works Job's body with a nice hook. Oooooh!!! Diaz has knocked Job down with a huge combo! Diaz steps away and waves a wobbly Job back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Job is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Diaz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Job. Oh Job is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Diaz throws a body shot but no joy. Diaz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Job. Job seems to have got his legs back now. Job looks to throw the jab but Diaz is out of range. Job has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Job there as he acknowledges the shot. Diaz drops Job with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Job looks back up at him and smiles so Diaz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Job leaves his chin hanging out and Diaz seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Job crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nolan Diaz! A less than humble Nolan Diaz misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
