The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sydal dives in and scores a takedown into Sudarta Lee's guard.
Sudarta Lee is looking to stand back up but Sydal counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sudarta Lee.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sudarta Lee looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Sydal is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sudarta Lee sees it coming and defends easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sudarta Lee has hold of Sydal's hands but Sydal slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

It looks like Nyoman Sudarta Lee has been cut.

Sydal wants to pass the guard but Sudarta Lee is defending well.
Sydal takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Sydal is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sudarta Lee has managed to free his arm - good work.

Sydal is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sudarta Lee is just riding it out for now. Sydal eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sydal lands a nice short elbow.

Sydal lands a huge takedown. Sudarta Lee is out but the ref is slow to react and Sydal lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Sudarta Lee lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
