Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Thibodeaux Jr (ranked 25174 p4p, 5070 weight class) and Sterling Turner (ranked 806 p4p, 619 weight class). The key to victory for Dakota Thibodeaux Jr has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dakota Thibodeaux Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sterling Turner! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Turner misses with a double jab.
Thibodeaux Jr looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Thibodeaux Jr connects with a single shot there. Thibodeaux Jr throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Thibodeaux Jr lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Turner shoots in and gets a takedown into Thibodeaux Jr's guard. Turner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thibodeaux Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard. Turner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner advances position into side control! Turner scores with punches from side control. Turner is chipping away with strikes.
Turner working the body and head with strikes. Thibodeaux Jr gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Turner with a couple of short strikes.
Thibodeaux Jr is rocked! Turner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whack. That's a big, big shot from Turner! Thibodeaux Jr is out cold! This one is all over!
