Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torhte Finlayson (ranked 560 p4p, 1114 weight class) and Melvin Manhoeff (ranked 92 p4p, 172 weight class). Finlayson comes to the cage accompanied by Scotland the Brave, Black Bear. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Finlayson.
Finlayson lands a slapping body shot.
Finlayson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Manhoeff has time to react.

It looks like Melvin Manhoeff has been cut.
Finlayson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A jab from Finlayson does it's job there.

and Finlayson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Manhoeff thinking.

Finlayson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Finlayson throws a hook to the side of Manhoeff's head but Manhoeff sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Manhoeff looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

That has opened up Melvin Manhoeff's cut even more.

Finlayson cracks Manhoeff with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Manhoeff tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Finlayson pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Manhoeff is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Torhte Finlayson!
