Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hueng Son (ranked 3830 p4p, 3097 weight class) and Yoshi Takano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshi Takano is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hueng Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yoshi Takano! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Son moves into the clinch. Son lands on the inside with an uppercut. Son blocks a body shot from Takano. Takano throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sons head. Takano throws a head punch that misses. Takano struggles to land a body shot inside as Son controls his hands.
Takano misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Son.
Son is looking to take this one to the mat. Son turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Son trying to control the position but Takano is working away. Takano being controlled for a moment. Takano is not content to let Son control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Son is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Takano has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Takano had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Son defends it easily. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A low kick lands for Son.
Son shoots in and gets a takedown into Takano's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Son showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Son seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Takano for as long as he can get away with. Son gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Takano counters with a nice uppercut. Takano looks for the body kick but Son saw that one coming. Son fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takano manages to avoid it. Son shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Son loads up on a big right hand but Takano slips the punch. Yoshi Takano is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Takano misses with a body kick. Son swings and misses with a shot to the body and Takano counters with a stiff right hand. Son throws a lazy body kick enabling Takano to counter with a crisp jab. Yoshi Takano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Hueng Son's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Takano keeps Son at a distance using the push kick. Son misses with a low kick. Son dives in and grabs Takano's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takano pushes down on Son's head and hops out. Takano tries to keep at a distance but Son has taken the fight into the clinch. Takano is defending well against a takedown attempt. Son blocking some punches.

and Takano counters with a straight right hand. Takano works Son's body with a nice hook. We've been told by Son's head coaches at Mentor Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Hueng Son seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Son misses with a right hand and Takano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Son throws a leg kick and Takano counters with a stiff right hand. Son misses with an uppercut
and Takano counters with a nice uppercut. Son stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Takano. A nice combination there by Son.
Takano misses with an uppercut. Son is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Takano. Son throws a leg kick that is checked letting Takano counter with a right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Son takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Takano scores with a decent looking hook. Son lunges at Takano with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Takano's hand. Takano jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Son is rocked! Son on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Oh Son is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A low kick lands for Takano.
Son throws a lazy head kick and Takano counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Son thinking. Son throws a leg kick and Takano counters with a crisp right that sends Son to the canvas! Takano follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
